London has been so fun so far, but I have seemed to develop a very bad cold. I force myself to go out and go sightseeing. Friday was absolutely gorgeous, so it was nice to get pictures of the campus and around London with the sun. Allie, Caitilyn, and I went to The Monument, which is by Sir Christopher Wren and is the monument for the Great Fire of London. It wasn't too bad of a climb (311 steps), but the tiny steps made me nervous going down. The views were amazing and we receive a certificate when we got down. After the monument we walked around the oldest part of London and went to the Guildhall Art Gallery. We took a free tour which was cool because the tour guide gave us a history lesson with each painting. In the bottom of the gallery are the ruins of the Roman Amphitheater. The exhibit was so cool because they showed you how it all would have looked back in the day.
