Busy day traveling around London

One of the best parts about my classes is that I get to go to a lot of museums and plays.  Yesterday, I had my theatre class in the morning and then I needed to go to a museum for my British Homes class and then a play for that same theatre class.  It was quite hectic but I made it to everything.  The museum I wend to was called the Geffrye Museum.  The museum is located east London so I had to take the underground and the over-ground to get there.  The building itself was an almshouse, which I guess is like a retirement community of the pensioners of the Ironmonger's Company.  Each room inside is set up as a middle class room from each century.  Everything was amazing, but my favorite room was the parlor from 1745.  All the red was amazing and the table was set up for tea so it featured an amazing tea set.  We are going back there later in the year, so I can't wait to see the building when everything is green.

After my trip to the museum, I headed back to Regent's to quickly eat dinner and head to the theatre.  The play was at the Tricycle Theatre in north London.  The neighborhood itself was very interesting and definitely a part of the city I have never seen before, but the theatre was so cool.  Definitely not something that would due appropriate for a fancy play, but very approbate for Stones in His Pockets.  The whole play featured only two actors who each played many different characters.  It is probably the coolest thing I have every seen before and the actors were so amazing.  I am really looking forward to all the other plays I get to see for this class!
