On our third day in Rome, we headed to Santa Maria della Vittoria to see The Ecstasy of St. Teresa. Afterwards, we headed over to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The weather was beautiful, so we spent lots of time at both just sitting there and people watching. We then went to see The Pantheon and its amazing oculus. The whole time I was trying to pick out all the pagan parts of the church, but couldn't find any. On our way across the river, we walked past Largo di Torre Argentina, which I didn't not realize until later was where Caesar was murdered. We then walked over the river and had a lovely coffee with the father of my brother's friend. He gave us lots of tips about the city and also pointed us towards one of the oldest churches in Rome. We then saw Saint Maria Della Scalla, which had some amazing chandeliers all over the church and then Saint Mary in Trastevere, which is one of the oldest churches in Rome.
