The Vatican City

On the fourth day in Rome, I spent the whole day at the Vatican City.  We started off with St. Peter's Basillica, and we saw everything there was to see.  The museum inside the church featured a lot of amazing things including Bernini Sculptures and even clothing worn by Pope John Paul II.  We also went to the bottom of the basilica to see the tombs of the Popes after climbing to the top of the dome.  THe views from the top were amazing, although not as amazing as seeing the Sistine Chapel later in the day.  I had to stop myself from rushing through the Vatican Museum to spend my whole time sitting in the Sistine Chapel.  The whole day was absolutely amazing!
