Good Friday Sightseeing

Good Friday was a little bit of a lost cause when in came to sightseeing for my friend Bre and me.  I had a whole day planned with lots of churches and of course I checked on line that we could still visit them on Good Friday.  Unfortunately, churches dont seem to update their websites very often.  We arrived at St. Stephen Walbrook to find the door actually bolted closed and then walked over to St. Paul's to find a sign saying that there were no sightseers allowed today.  We reconvened at Starbucks and decided to head to Sir John Soane's Museum, but of course that too was closed.  Finally, we were forced to go shopping around Covent Garden :) It was nice though because we walked past Drury Lane and also saw the Royal Opera House, so we were able to cross at least a couple things off my to do list.

St. Paul's Cathedral, also designed by Sir Christopher Wren
