Kensington

On Thursday, I decided to take a trip to Kensington Palace during my break from classes.  It just reopened after a very extensive restoration and featured a new exhibit with Princess Diana's clothing.  After the exhibit closes, the room will be closed off from the public and become the kitchen for Will and Kate!  The rest of the palace was very interesting, and seemed like there were art installations in front of all the important historical pieces.  Definitely a different kind of palace or museum than I am used to.  After the Palace, I headed back to school only to be brought back to Kensington to see a house tour of Lord Leighton's home.  Unfortunately there were no pictures allowed inside, but it was one of the most amazing houses I have seen all semester!
